Flavor of love Charm School

Hey Everyone!

If you didn't know already, I am a reality TV junkie, and yes, even I got hooked on Flavor of Love and I Love New York. Recently, a new spin off show has come on hosted by Monique called the Flavor of Love Charm School. The goal of the show is to teach the Flavor of Love rejects how to be classy and lady like. On this week's episode, the girls on the show were introduced to several different men. All of the men had different characteristics, but only one was a true urban Renaissance man, thus suitable to be a potential mate.

In order to give the ladies time to choose the right man, Monique put together a prom. The girls could talk to as many of the guys as they wanted, and they did. They talked to everyone EXCEPT the urban Renaissance man. During the entire prom, one person actually took the time to talk to him, and even she found him to be boring.

What am I saying? Well...many times in life, we overlook what's good for us to get something that's no so good for us simply because it seems to be more intriguing or attractive. Take a lesson from the Flavor of Love's Charm School and don't leave the good thing in your life standing in the corner all by itself.

Be blessed!

Take some time to mediate on today's Scriptures:

Proverbs 8:11 For skillful and godly Wisdom is better than rubies or pearls, and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. [Job 28:15; Ps 19:10; 119:127 ]
Psalm 63:3 Because Your loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You.
